Knitting & Crochet weekend at Nunsmere Hall Hotel  27th-30th March 2023

We are hugely excited to invite you to a knitting and crochet event at a beautiful venue in Cheshire with tutors Jane and Debbie. Come and join us for a three-night stay at the charming Nunsmere Hall Hotel and enjoy the rural ambience as you knit, crochet and relax with like-minded people. We think this is going to be a very popular event, so we advise that you make your booking promptly to avoid disappointment. However, please make sure that you read all the following information before you book even if you have been to an Inspired Minds event before.

Deposit

We are taking a deposit of £200 for whichever room you choose.

Once you have secured your place, we will send you our bank details to finalise payment. Please make full payment after 5th January 2023 and before 31st January 2023 . For full prices please see the Pricing tab (above if you are on a PC or at the bottom of the page on a mobile device). The deposit is non-refundable unless we can fill your place from our waiting list. Any rooms not paid in full by the payment deadline on the 31st January 2023 will be re-advertised for sale unless you have contacted us.

The Workshop

The workshop will begin with a complimentary drink, a meal and informal introductions, and then over the next few days you will be able to relax and unwind with the group while you knit and crochet. Nunsmere Hall is set in a rural location and there are beautiful local walks & trails, as well as a walking path around the surrounding lake. There are also some other great local attractions including Oulton Park, Cheshire Oaks Shopping Outlet and Delamere Forest.

Debbie and Jane make great tutors with a long history of teaching, and they really enjoy working alongside each other to create fun and informative workshops. They will each design a small project for you to work on over the course of the workshop and will be on hand to guide you through all the techniques, typically including beading and colour work.

Price includes:

3 Nights accommodation & breakfast
2 Buffet lunches
3 Evening meals
Welcome drink

Morning & afternoon tea & coffee
Workshop kit

The Project

You will be given a kit for a project to work on during the workshop. In the past, most workshop participants have chosen to work on the project, but it is not compulsory. We are more than happy if you would prefer to bring your own WIP and work on that instead.

Parking available at Hotel

All vehicles can be parked in the on-site car park in front of the venue. They will allow bag-drop outside reception to avoid guests carrying baggage from the car.

Accessible bedrooms

Due to Nunsmere being a Listed Building, they are often faced with the task of preserving the hall’s original features whilst also continuing to be an accessible venue to everyone. They do have a number of bedrooms that can be accessed via a lift that are available upon request.  None of the rooms have any adaptations for disabilities but some do have separate shower. They also have a ramp available on request for wheelchair access at the entrance.

Additional Nights

If you wish to extend your stay at Nunsmere Hall, please email us with the dates your require after booking your room and we will check with the hotel for availability and cost.

Afternoon Tea

Why not book an afternoon tea during your stay to enhance your experience at Nunsmere Hall? Enjoy a selection of classic finger sandwiches, French pastries and scones with a choice of tea or coffee, or upgrade and treat yourself to a Joseph Perrier Champagne or a Earl Grey Forrest Gin and Slimline Tonic.

Non-workshop participants

If you would like to bring along a husband/wife/partner to share your room, you will need to purchase a single room. All single rooms in the hotel have a double bed. Your partner will be entitled to the welcome drink, reception, breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea and coffee during the day.

Covid 19

Who knows what's around the corner? Everything is dependent on the UK remaining open for business. We recommend taking out Covid insurance in case you fall ill prior to the workshop. This can cost as little as £5.
